Review:
This story made for a good rainy weekend afternoon read. I wasn't warned, however, about the abuse the heroine might endure at the hands of the bad guy. It didn't ruin the story, but I did have to do some section skipping/skimming because of it. Other than that, I didn't have a problem.Nikita a nice change of pace for a heroine. She's smart, independent, and determined. What she isn't is wafer-thin and perfect. I liked that about her. She wears glasses and has more curves. The best part comes from her falling in love with her friend before the physical contact starts.
Granted I'm a fairly quick reader, but I think this story is easily tucked into a weekend. If your looking for something for those work lunch breaks and aren't worried about anyone looking over your shoulder, this one works. There may be some language a delicate reader might not be comfortable with, but I don't expect a delicate reader would choose a book with a BDSM theme. So curl up with a glass of wine and settle in with this 3.5 star werewolf tale.
