PHANTOM LOVER BOOK TOUR WITH TAMARIA SOANA

Phantom Lover by Tamaria Soana
Add to your Goodreads TBR

Every night Olivia longs to fall asleep in hopes that once again she’ll be joined by her phantom lover.

Can true love transcend life and death?

Olivia Shaw-Clayton’s life revolves around her job ever since her husband was killed eight months ago in Iraq. She slaves away at her desk in hopes of numbing the pain of her loss and the guilt of longing to fall asleep once again to be joined by her phantom lover.

Olivia was out waiting for her friends at Vipers after work, when in walked the most gorgeous man that she’d ever seen wearing an Army uniform. He was tall and built like a god. She watched as he took off his coat and placed it over his shoulder.  She licked her lips at the sight of him in a t-shirt.  His huge arms were covered in tattoos. She knew she was staring, but couldn’t tear her eyes off of him. Finally, she turned away and took a sip of her almost empty drink. When she looked up again, she found the most amazing hazel eyes gazing at her. She thought her heart was going to stop right there. He smiled and began to walk toward her.

“Hello, my name is Aaron Clayton and I was wondering if you’d do me the honor of having a drink with me?”  He extended his hand.

Olivia bit her lower lip and took his hand in hers. He smelled just as good as he looked. It was a mix of amber, musk, and spice.

“Hi,” she finally sputtered out as he brought the top of her hand toward his mouth. She cleared her throat. “My name is Olivia.”

“Nice to meet you, Olivia.” His smoldering eyes never left hers as he placed a gentle kiss on top of her hand.

Her heart fluttered and a warm jolt rushed through her body. A feeling she’d never had before. All her senses seemed at that moment to be on fire. All she could think, smell or breathe was this stranger that stood in front of her. She cleared her throat again, in hopes of snapping herself out of the trance she was in. “I’m meeting my friends, but I’m early, so a drink sounds great.”

He smiled. My friends are in the back playing pool, but they can wait.” He winked. “What are you drinking?”
“Gin and tonic, please.”

He leaned toward her. “I’ll be right back,” he whispered in her ear.

A shiver went down her spine and her stomach fluttered as she watched him walk toward the bar. By God his ass is fine! Her mind swirled with all the things she would like to do to that body. Get a grip. Olivia. You just met him and you already want to jump his bones. Olivia looked around the bar and noticed that most of the girls’ eyes were on Aaron. Jealousy spiked through her veins but at the same time she felt a little smug that he'd walked up to her. Now all she needed to do was figure out how to get to know him better. If she had her way she would be underneath him by the end of the night.

“Here you go,” he said as he handed her a drink. “So, Olivia, tell me about yourself?”
She quickly glanced around at all the other females glaring at her and a large smirk crossed her lips. Ladies, eat your heart out! He’s talking to me. She quickly focused her attention on the god in front her, smiling at her with the sexiest dimples she’d ever seen, and she melted.

A Siren Erotic Romance

STORY EXCERPT

“Ash, you son of a bitch,” he muttered. “I told you when I filled that thing out it was just for laughs. I wanted nothing to do with your little dating service.”

Ash snorted. “You’re one of those closet men who walk around wearing that ‘bisexual’ cloak when you know what you really want is a hard, warm body, not a soft one.”

Cal glared at Ash, whose face was suffused with accusation. His chin tilted up and those blue eyes held him trapped. As much as he’d come to trust and like Ash over the years, he wasn’t about to share his reasons for not having a relationship with a man with him, but he wasn’t a closet gay. “Ash—”

“Yeah, I know,” he cut in, rolling his eyes. “You’ve dated women all your life, blah, blah, blah. Yet you haven’t found a single one to settle down with even temporarily.”

He’d tried, but none had appealed in any way that mattered. They couldn’t soothe the frayed edges of his soul. “I haven’t been looking, dumbass,” he snapped.

Ash gave him a patient look that Cal held with defiance as he crossed his arms over his broad-muscled chest.

“My slippery friend, those lies you love to spout about not wanting a ball and chain are just that. Lies.” Ash grinned but Cal saw that loneliness in his friend’s eyes. It was a hunger that Ash kept carefully tucked away when talking about his own romantic life. He knew it because once in a while he saw it in his own eyes and felt it rumbling around in his own soul. “Yeah, I know your type.”

“You don’t know shit about me,” he grumbled. His type? The type that hungered for more but was too afraid to open his heart to it? If that’s what he meant, then that was him to a tee and he had to agree Ash knew him well because he was just as hungry and wounded.

“But we still have a problem,” Ash said. “You know I pride myself on giving my customers what they want and need.”

Cal cringed inwardly at that mischievous look in the man’s eyes. That damn Ash had something up his sleeve and was looking to make him his guinea pig. “I don’t see how that becomes my problem,” Cal commented carefully.

“It’s your problem because I’m not giving this guy a refund just because you’re a coward,” Ash told him matter-of-factly.

“I’m not a coward,” Cal snapped and leaped to his feet. He paced across from Ash’s desk to look out the window onto the small patio at the back of the building. It was one of Ash’s many venues for first meets. Couples could have a quick introduction made there before going off on a date.

“He’s hot,” Ash began. “Long red hair, cute little button nose, nice little body, and a pair of the prettiest—”

“Redheads are too pale,” Cal broke in. He faced Ash. “You know I’m not that into white guys to start, so don’t throw some little pale-as-hell redhead my way and expect me to honor your commitment. Offer him two more free dates or whatever.”

“Nope,” he said, shaking his head. “You’re his perfect match. If he’d merely just picked you, I’d fix him up with someone else, but I think you’ll like him. He’s under six feet just like you prefer, doesn’t smoke, has a job, and he’s not straddling the fence.”

“What?”

“He’s gay, and he knows it,” Ash told him, and smiled. “He’s a bottom boy, and we both know you’ve got them hot fantasies of a strict bottom that’s willing to let you be the man in charge.”

He glared at his friend, but he was right. He liked his men a little submissive but not mindlessly obedient. Dominants were nothing but trouble. “I’m not taking out some—”

“Some homo?” Ash cut in, giving him a cold glare. “News flash, big sexy, you’re a homo too, but you just won’t admit it.”

“I—”

“Be honest for once in your sorry life, man,” Ash said, his voice holding a hard edge. “Tell me you don’t love sinking your mouth down on a hard prick over eating pussy. Tell me the sweet smell of a woman gets you hotter than hell. Tell me you want to be married to a woman, and I’ll have you ten perfect choices by the end of the day. Each one will be just your type, but you’ll reject each one of them like you always do after a few dates. Hell, you couldn’t even get it up for that last one.”

“That is not true,” he retorted coldly, and Ash laughed as he got to his feet.

“No? Remember that evening a week after you met her? I walked in on you two at your office making out. She was giving you the business real good, but your dick was so limp in her grip it could have belonged to a five-year-old. Then, you saw me watching and stroking my cock and your dick came to attention faster than a corporal in a general’s presence. I thought you were going to shoot your load right then.”

“You’re an ass.” Cal shook his head in self-disgust. Women had never really done it for him, and he’d realized that when his college professor approached him in the library one night. He’d been attracted to the man, turned on more than he’d ever been with any girl he’d ever met. That had been his first male lover. A delicious black man who’d introduced him to the real joys of sex.

“But I’m not lying.” Ash perched on the edge of his desk and Cal faced him. “It’s time to come all the way out of the closet.”

Blurb:

Robert King has it all. He's rich, powerful, and good looking. A name partner in his own successful law firm, Robert is completely focused and driven. He is also completely alone, though by his own design. As he sits alone in his office one night, after attending his father's funeral, he starts to reevaluate his life.

Following Robert's father's funeral, the snap decision to check on him before leaving for the night changes everything as they both seek comfort in each other and finally give in to the lust that has been building between them for months. There's just one problem. Daniel is already halfway in love, and Robert is adamant he doesn't want a relationship.

Review:

Talk about mixing business with pleasure! Most office romances are frowned upon in the modern workplace. I get it. Really I do, but there are some perks to being a senior partner in Extenuating Circumstances.

Daniel is such a great character. He isn't classically good looking. Youth and inexperience make him seem somewhat naive still. He has a very strong bond with his mother and misses his dearly departed father. Surrounded by friends, he lives a simple life. He's smart and sweet with more than a little innocence. Everything about Daniel is endearing. The author's description of him as a puppy seemed very accurate. I almost wanted to warn him off Robert myself.

Robert is strong and out-going. He knows what he wants and takes it. There's an air to him that screams "player." Having been born with a silver spoon in his mouth certain wasn't the dream life most people would equate with money. Spoiled? Sure, but not as loved as he should have been. It left him cold and distant in his relationships. Until Daniel, I'm not sure Robert knew the difference between love and lust.

I liked seeing Daniel come out of his shell and take on the dangers of a relationship with Robert. The scenes were sensual and thoughtful. Watching Robert thaw out to find his happily-ever-after was nice, too. The scenarios tied the two lovers together and gave a really good contrast to their pasts. I enjoyed how the buff, tough-guy is the one being saved by the outwardly underdog. At 31,110 words, this is a quick read. For those times when you're short on time but want a warm, fuzzy romance, this will fit the bill. I give it 4 stars!

ELLA JADE'S FIND ME BLOG TOUR

My obsession with time travel finally makes it into one of my books.

I’ve loved the idea of time travel since I first saw the movie Back to the Future (yes, I’m old enough to have seen it in the theater). The theory that we could travel back to another place and see how life was in that era intrigues me. Quantum Leap was one of my all time favorite shows. I never missed an episode. Twenty years later and I can still recall every adventure. It only made sense to incorporate the time travel concept into a book.

A reluctant, sexy witch, a persistent, charismatic warlock and time travel...

That’s what you get when I try my hand at a paranormal romance. The idea for this book has been on my mind for years. This was the first scene that popped into my head and ended up being the opening scene for the book.

The mystery man moved his hand to Riley’s cheek, gently stroking her face before leaning closer to her. The warmth of his breath caressed her lips. Moving his other hand to her hair, he slipped off the band that secured her ponytail and set her long locks free. Tangling his fingers in her tresses, he guided her to his lips. The prickle from the stubble on his jaw brushed her cheek as he placed a soft kiss at the corner of her mouth just below her bottom lip. His signature...
Her stomach fluttered from the contact. When he drew away from her, she craved more. Staring into his green depths, she tried to memorize every feature of his face right down to the tiny mole just below his left earlobe. There was something familiar about the stranger who began visiting her a few nights ago.
“Find me,” he whispered just before fading away.
Find Me is a tale of family heritage, defying the odds and a love that can’t be denied no matter what the natural order of things dictate. It’s a romance at the core but it also blends elements of loyalty, trust and friendship.
This book is like none I’ve ever written before. It’s set in an era that you don’t normally read when you pick up a time travel romance. I chose 1963 because it fit with the flow of the plot. It also helps incorporate a back story between the heroine’s grandfather and the stranger. As I began writing everything just fell into place and I was able to create a world of magic and sensuality.

Find Me is available now. I hope you’ll add it to your TBR pile.

CHECK OUT THE MARQUE OF SEDUCTION

Mainstream Historical Romance
MF
Erotic Heat Level – Sensual, mild sexual scenes

On a trip to Port Royal to help her brother and his wife, Lady Candice Drake’s life takes her on a journey of shipwrecks, injury, privateers, and intrigue.  After washing up on the beach of a Caribbean island she finds herself falling in love with the man who rescued her, Captain Daniel Roarke.  Even though a marriage has been arranged, she can’t help but love this man.

A sugarcane plantation owner, Daniel also has a secret that could destroy everyone he touches.  He carries Marque, papers of permission for privateering, from Queen Anne to capture ships from the Spanish Armada.

On their way to take Candice to her brother after her recovery, the real adventure of love and treachery begins.

Story Excerpt

The first day was uneventful as they sailed northwest. Claustrophobia weighed heavily upon Candice as she first entered the spacious Captain’s quarters at the aft of the ship, or perhaps it was apprehension at the reminder of what happed to her onboard the previous ship, so she stayed on deck as much as possible. This time she brought some of Daniel’s books with her to occupy her time, though she did enjoy watching the men perform their assigned tasks and she also had Cocoa to entertain her.

Surprise presented itself when right before the ship pulled out of the canal that Daniel released his shrill whistle and Cocoa swung from the trees nearby and onto the main-mast, where he lithely climbed down the rigging to the Captain’s shoulder. He didn’t remain with Daniel for long when he saw Candice sitting on a barrel near the door of the Captain’s quarters. Engrossed in the book she was reading, she didn’t see him scamper over to her until he climbed up on a wooden crate next to the barrel and put his tiny hand on the book, trying to get her attention. Closing the book, she let the small creature climb into her lap where she absent-mindedly petted him as she watched the crew.

At sunset, Daniel and Candice retreated to his quarters where she remained close to the door at all times, which did not go unnoticed by the Captain. Not wanting to add any pressure, he remained quiet about it. He knew that what she had gone through was very traumatic and there wasn’t any sense in placing any more on her by bringing it up. They dressed for supper, which was soon brought in by the chef and the cabin boy.

The chef was a short black man whose rotund stature spoke well of his culinary abilities. The cabin boy, Arthur, was about fourteen or fifteen years old with dark unruly hair and sparkling ice blue eyes. He spoke very little, and when he did, it was barely more than a whisper, as if afraid to talk. He looked as if he were afraid of everyone and very much alone. Candice was concerned for his welfare and his future. Who would let their child work on a ship at such a young age, she thought.

Supper was laid out on the table which was usually used as a desk, which sat in front of the large bay of windows at the rear of the room, a white tablecloth preparing it into a table. A Turin of soup, a platter of meat and a large bowl of fruit adorned the table, along with a fresh loaf of bread and a pitcher of wine, which Arthur began to pour into the wine goblets at each of the three place settings. When James entered, the two men immediately sat at the table, ready to eat after a strenuous day on deck.

As if realizing Candice wasn’t joining them, Daniel stood and strode to her side. Hands wringing and sweat dotting her brow, her panic attack was evident. Taking her hands in his he kissed her cheek.

Knowing James was watching, Daniel spoke lowly as not to embarrass her. “Love, I know you are frightened and rightfully so, but know that should anything happen, I will do whatever I can to keep you safe. Out here on the ocean, things can change in a minute and we don’t always have control over them, but I promise to try my best to keep you safe.”

Looking into his eyes, she believed him, and she knew that the accident wasn’t anyone’s fault, but she was still apprehensive. She had almost died the last time, and really didn’t wish to repeat that, but she also knew that he would try to keep her safe. A timid smile caught her lips as she let him lead her to the table, which was only ten steps, where she sat opposite the quartermaster with Daniel at the end between them.

The meal was surprisingly good, Candice found to her delight. Apparently not every ship has an ill-mannered crew and bad food. She found she didn’t have to drink so much wine to obscure the taste of the fare and then be on the verge of drunkenness by the end of the night. After dinner, she remained at the table while Daniel and James spoke of the day’s work while smoking cigars, which she had grown accustomed to the aroma.

As a bell on deck marked the time, James excused himself while Arthur cleared the table. When he was finished and the door closed behind him, Candice stood, looked at the bed, which was a lot smaller than the bed that occupied Daniel’s room at the house and then wondered where she would sleep since she was not shown separate quarters. Daniel saw her appraisal of the situation and smiled.

“Now you don’t think I would let you sleep elsewhere where my men could try to steal you away from me, do you?”

A Siren Erotic Romance

Review:

We kick off the story with a hen's lunch date. Four friends meet every Wednesday to gossip and exchange news. Holly's friends are glad that she's gone from skid row to fabulous wealth. They just wish she had Mr Right in her busy life. Forget Mr. Right! They'd be happy with Mr. Right Now! Holly is very career minded and suspicious of most men's motives. She always assumes they want something from her, but she's holding out for a man who will want just her. In her situation, sorting the con artists from the real thing is a tough gig.

Enter Drake Davenport. He has problems of his own. Like Holly, he comes from a very poor background. The jet-set lifestyle has worn him down and early retirement is looking really good. The difference is his job is part of an international jewelry ring, and Holly is his last assignment! Unfortunately for him, she's not the easy mark he's use to, and the first thing stolen is his heart.

This was a great adventure in a short span of words. The total length came in at 26,986, making this a great quick read. The shorter length was a bonus for the holidays. It was easy to fit in between all the cooking and crowds. Our hero was hot, and the sex was hotter. I enjoyed the ending and even found myself saying, "I can't believe she did that!" The twists and turns are interesting. I found this to be a full 4.5 star read!

Berengaria Brown’s first ever true BDSM book.

Berengaria writes:
I have over a hundred published erotic romance books, mostly novella length. MF, MM, FF, and ménage. Something for every taste. Contemporary, paranormal, historical, I’ve written them all. Many of them include very light BDSM. But now I have just had published my first true BDSM book (on 4 December) and the sequel was released on 18 December. Book one is sitting pretty right now at #7 on the ménage and multiple best seller list.

“Naked for her Two Masters”, book one of “The Wolf Masters” series.

Andorra Yasbit’s father took off with a blonde bimbo and her stepmother closed their apartment. So Andorra hikes up a mountain and discovers a wonderful hot spring. The only problem is the werewolf who owns it is Master Kingston, who’s used to being pursued by gold digging women. And he has an equally Dominant best friend, Master Raleigh. They don’t believe she’s arrived by accident.
The two men take Andorra to the dungeon, but instead of being scared Andorra revels in the punishment and orgasms. The men can’t find any evidence Andorra has been lying to them, but Master Kingston can’t bring himself to trust her either. And the more time they spend together, the stronger the attraction between the three of them grows. Kingston is determined to break her and prove she’s deceitful. Raleigh wants to believe her but owes his allegiance to his Alpha. What can Andorra do to demonstrate she’s telling the truth?
Note: This book contains dubious consent.

STORY EXCERPT

Fury raced through Kingston’s veins as he stared at the strange woman in his hot spring. Were the fucking gold diggers following him to the mountain now? Where the fucking hell had she come from? He couldn’t imagine a woman hiking up the mountain. It’d take days and she’d need a support crew with a tent and food and all her equipment. No, she must have had a helicopter bring her and the pilot had landed her at the wrong spring. For a moment he wondered how long she’d been lying there waiting for him to find her, then shrugged it off. Too bad. She was about to have a reality check. It was a good three miles over very rough rock back to the pack’s home. That should teach her not to act precipitously in the future.
He stood on an overhanging rock and roared at the interloper, “What the fucking hell are you doing in my hot spring?”
He felt a momentary flash of guilt when she startled so badly she sank beneath the water and came up coughing and splashing.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t realize this was private property.” He watched her scramble out of the water, keeping her back to him. Did she really think that acting all shy and hiding her nakedness when she’d come here deliberately to entice him would work? She couldn’t possibly be that stupid. Then he remembered some of the other women who’d pursued him. Yes, she could be that dumb. He watched her open her backpack and pull out a towel, rub her body briskly then climb into jeans, a T-shirt, and a sweater. The clothes looked well-worn. He’d expected her to wear something nicer, but perhaps she intended to keep up the innocent act.
He also noticed she dried her feet carefully—far more carefully than she’d dried any other part of her body—before putting on clean socks. That was the way genuine hikers behaved. Feet were the most important part of a hiker’s equipment and it made good sense to treat them properly. He watched her push the dirty clothes that had been left on the ground beside her boots into the backpack, and then shrug it over her shoulders. Like her clothing, the backpack was far from new. Likely she’d bought it secondhand or from a thrift store. She had a bedding roll pushed through the straps of the backpack.
She kept her back to him and walked up the hill at the side of the hot spring, heading west.
“Where are you going?” he asked.
“Back to the river. Or is that still on your land? May I stay at the river tonight please?”
“Why?” He couldn’t understand why she hadn’t asked to go to his home. What devious plan was in her brain?
“I don’t have any food left and if I set my net now I might catch a fish for breakfast.”
“Why don’t you want to come to my house?”
“You told me to get off your land.”
“No I didn’t. I asked you what you were doing in my pool. A question you haven’t answered.”
While they’d been talking he’d walked around the rim of the hot spring so he was still above her but much closer to her now. Her brown eyes were a little bit sunken in her face and she looked tired. The jeans she’d put in her backpack had been very dirty, as if she’d been wearing them for a while. He wondered if she really had climbed the mountain, or at least come quite a distance, and if she had run out of food or if that was just a ploy to get his sympathy. Some women were incredibly manipulative, especially when they hoped to catch a rich husband.
She turned to face him fully. “The short answer is soaking and resting. The long answer is I came to the mountains for peace and a break. I saw the steam rising from your pool and I thought it was going to be a volcano so I wanted to look at it.”
“There are no volcanoes in these mountains.”
“I didn’t know that. I didn’t know there were hot springs here either, though. Listen, is it all right if I stay by the river? I need to leave now to get there before dark and set my net.”
“Follow me to my house instead. I’ll feed you.” He was probably being naïve letting her come, but if she genuinely had no food he couldn’t leave her out on the mountain.

Burned out human speech therapist, Nevis Greenway, has been recuperating at Hot Springs Mountain. She likes York Greenmountain with whom she plays cards, but he’s shown no interest in her. Until his best friend, the Dom Bronx Montaine, arrives.
Bronx is about to open a new branch office for the werewolf pack and he’s been told to take a woman with him. York suggests Nevis, and Bronx thinks she’ll suit him very well. Nevis is happy to go with them, and sleep with them, too, but just until the branch is established.
Once they arrive in Pine Corner, though, all bets are off as they try to work together, set up the transportation company, and play increasingly hot BDSM scenes all around the state, in the B-Train, the minivan, the trailer… And still Nevis won’t consider staying with them for very long.
