Review:
And Riley makes three! Oh my! Eileen Green has yet another BDSM novel to add to the TRB pile. This one is as sweet as it is hot. When the book starts, we already have a happily married couple, Matt and Travis, in a BDSM relationship. Matt is instantly taken by quiet, reserved Riley. He and Travis want to make it a forever threesome, but Riley has enough baggage to go to Europe and never wear the same outfit twice!
Riley's suffered emotional, mental, and physical abuse at the hands of her adoptive mother and ex-husband. She's lost her baby and then lost herself in writing. Getting the chance to make a movie is a once in a lifetime opportunity. She already had an actor in mind for her leading man. What she doesn't know is how connected they about to be.
Matt and Travis want her the instant they meet her. She's a natural sub to add to their relationship. The problem is approaching her without spooking her. How do two handsome, rich men convince a traumatize woman that she's beautiful and desirable? With time and patience and a whole lot of love.
I really liked this one. Green does a good job keeping the BDSM in the background while the story develops. A more vanilla reader would be able to enjoy the story and get a little taste of the BDSM scene closer to the end. This makes the story more accessible to a wider audience. There's just enough to be naughty without making the average reader uncomfortable. The plot moves the story along rather well. I just wished the part where Manny gets his comeuppance wasn't away for the heroine's POV. I would have loved to see the beat-down he so desperately deserved! Lessons of Trust will certainly make waiting in the carpool lane to get the kids go by faster. I'm giving it 4 stars!
